By participating in the study "Glück in Wuppertal" you make a valuable contribution to the Happiness Atlas project (www.happiness-atlas.com) by the Happiness Research Organisation (www.happiness-research.org).
The international Happiness Atlas offers insights into the actual “Time-Use” and “Happiness-Time-Use” of people all over the world.
Where are the happiest people? Which places or regions are particularly livable locations? And what can we learn from this to help more people lead a happier life?
The factors that play a role in influencing the happiness of individuals vary from one person to the next. By using a scientifically-based smartphone app for analyzing the subjective well-being, the Happiness-Time-Use can be measured in different everyday situations. This enables us to closely investigate people‘s everyday lives and their feelings and emotions and visualize them in an interactive “World Happiness Map“.
From the collected data objective conclusions can be drawn for a happiness-oriented political model that focuses on better living conditions and on the citizens’ individual well-being. For a happier, healthier, and more productive society.
Would you like to contribute to making our world a more human and livable place? Help us by taking part in our international research study.
The interactive atlas shows a general tendency in the happiness levels of individual countries, regions or cities. In addition to this, profiles of various population groups can be drawn from the scientific data which can be filtered according to different criteria, e.g. age, gender, ethnicity, place of residence or occupation.
This is how you get an overview of anonymous Happiness Profiles of specific groups of people and you can find out how other people spend their time (Time-Use) and how happy they are doing what they do (Happiness-Time-Use).
